About My Work

Foundation

My work is relational and depth-oriented, drawing from psychodynamically informed principles alongside contemporary attachment-based approaches. I am attentive to how early relational experiences shape patterns of connection, protection, and longing — often outside of conscious awareness — and how these patterns continue to organize both inner life and relationships over time.

Approach

The work is grounded in empirically supported, evidence-based practices, integrated with relational depth and careful attention to emotional process. Rather than focusing on technique, this approach emphasizes the careful unfolding of meaning within relationship, attending to emotional experience as it emerges over time.

Modalities

I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman-informed frameworks in my work with couples, alongside trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches. In individual work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) may be incorporated when appropriate, supporting the processing of experiences that remain emotionally or somatically held.

Focus

Much of my work explores how early attachment strategies form around safety and connection — how being competent can create security, being needed can preserve closeness, and self-reliance can prevent feeling like a burden. Shame, self-doubt, and emotional pain are approached with care, creating space for greater self-acceptance and freedom to emerge over time.
